Wasn't sure what I had when I picked her up off the side of the highway when she was 4 weeks old. But she's a lazy brat now.

Some would call her a pit bull. I think there's some lab in there somewhere.

The Great Pyrenees we had was by far the sweetest dog we have ever had. We have had a lot of dogs.

They were bred as guardian dogs. I have been stood down by them on occasion. Not attacked, but they protect their "herd" as they see fit. My advice is to never provoke one.

They are used as guardian dogs because they can kill a wolf and a mountain lion.

Breeders typically breed dogs to bring out certain traits of dog for a specific purpose. Hunting dogs being one example. But that in itself doesn't or can't guarantee a desired result.

And don't forget the designer breeds. Know a lady that breeds Golden Doodles. My daughter breeds Sheepadoodles. Those are maybe the sweetest dogs I've ever been around.

Anyone seriously arguing pit bulls aren't more vicious than other breeds is delusional. We get it. You're a "Pit mommy" who is immune to facts until your dog uses you as prey.

What was the article we were talking about again?

In 2019, pit bulls accounted for 91% of all reported fatal attacks on other animals, 91% of all fatal attacks on other dogs, 76% of all fatal dog attacks on cats, and 82% of all fatal dog attacks on other pets, poultry and hoofed species.

Pit bulls make up 6% of all dogs.

"Hurrh durrh pit bulls are no worse than any other dog! I don't know what basic statistics are!"

All reported attacks, meaning only attacks reported. As previously stated not all dog attacks are reported.

More often than not people are not quick to report their own dog. Biased statistics at best, people always need someone or something to blame.

Kinda like saying your the smartest dumbass, are you really smart? Maybe statistically but your still a dumbass.

    And your point is what?

Dogs have turned on their owners many times for various reasons.

Your ignorance is abounding. You're grasping at straws trying to prove something because of your own prejudice against certain breeds of dogs.

Many could argue that you are naive and ignorant.

In all the years of owning so-called "vicious" dogs, not once have I ever been attacked by one.

You probably think gun control laws stop criminals from getting guns or using them!
